    What to include

    • Service dates and the property address
    • Recurring services at a per-visit price
    • One-time jobs such as planting, mulching, or cleanup
    • Plants, mulch, soil, and other materials
    • Disposal or haul-away fees if they apply

    Tips

    • For seasonal contracts, list the visit dates covered.
    • Quote plants and materials by the unit so a change in quantity is easy to follow.
    • Add your payment terms. Many landscapers invoice monthly.

    Questions

Do I invoice per visit or per month?

Per visit is simpler for one-off clients. Monthly invoices suit regular mowing clients, with each visit date listed.

Is a deposit normal for big jobs?

Yes. For jobs that need materials ordered, a deposit is standard. Show it as already received on the final invoice.
