    Questions

    Is BillingReceipts really free?

Yes. Creating invoices and receipts and downloading them as PDFs is free, with no account needed. Signing in to sync up to 10 saved documents is also free. Pro ($5 a month or $39 a year) adds unlimited sync, saved clients, your logo, and no BillingReceipts footer.

    Where is my data stored?

Without an account, nothing you type is sent to a server. The document is built in your browser. If you sign in, the documents and clients you save are stored in your account so you can open them on other devices.

What is the difference between an invoice and a receipt?

An invoice asks for payment and lists what is owed. A receipt confirms that payment was made, so it shows the payment method and a paid mark.

Can I cancel Pro any time? Is there a refund?

Yes, you can cancel any time from the billing portal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and your plan does not renew. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods, except where the law requires it.

Is this tax or legal advice?

No. Tax rules and required invoice wording vary by place. Check with an accountant for your situation.
